One small step for man, one giant leap for Prada.
The Italian luxury fashion house announced Wednesday that it will be teaming up with Axiom Space to design the spacesuits for NASA’s 2025 Artemis III mission.
“The constantly forward-thinking ethos of Prada for humanity has broadened to his desire of adventure and to brave new horizons: space,” Lorenzo Bertelli, Prada Group Marketing Director, said in a Texas-based startup Axiom has a contract with NASA to develop spacesuits for use on the moon as well as other space programs.“We are thrilled to partner with Prada on the Axiom Extravehicular Mobility Unit spacesuit,” Michael Suffredini, CEO of Axiom Space,.
