Dothan’s Alex Broadaway fired a 3-under 69 to win medalist honors during an 18-hole match at Highland Oaks on Tuesday attended by six teams.
Opp won the team battle with a 344, followed by Providence Christian , Northside Methodist and Rehobeth . Dothan and Wicksburg also had golfers compete.
Camden McCallister led Providence Christian with an 80 and was fourth individually. Tanner Beasley and Davis Moore led Northside Methodist, both with an 88, and Ayden Braddy paced Rehobeth with an 86. Rehobeth wins nine-hole tourney: Rehobeth won a nine-hole meet at Highland Oaks on Tuesday, finishing with a 209 score, led by Ethan Davis’ 47 and Jacob Tally’s 51.
Wicksburg wins girls meet: Behind four scores of 46 and lower, Wicksburg won a three-team girls meet at Highland Oaks on Tuesday, finishing with a 123 score.Sue Ellen King of Wicksburg was medalist with a 37. Teammate Katie Brannon was runner-up with a 40. Kate King and Blakely Casey both had a 46 for Wicksburg.
