Pinole Valley’s quest for a perfect regular season is now in the stretch run, with the Spartans improving to 20-0 in a victory over league opponent Salesian .As always, senior pitcher Kailani Tatro went the distance, allowing just three hits and striking out 12 in seven innings.

SI totalled 12 hits, three of those being doubles.Sequoia 9, Leigh 6 Leigh’s freshman Elliana Snyder hit two doubles and drove in four RBIs for the home team, and fellow freshman Audrina Moyle had a hit and an RBI. Senior Kiersten Low collected two hits.
Gunn scored six runs in the first inning, two runs in the fourth inning, and then seven in the fifth inning.
