If a picture is worth a thousand words, what would 18,000 photos be worth? MarcMullins1 spoke to the man who spent his life capturing snapshots of Indiana's LGBTQ history.
Mark Lee picked up a camera in the 1980s and spent the next several decades documenting the LGBTQ history in the state of Indiana.He's also gay.
"They thought it was an abomination," he said,"And all of a sudden the Gay Men's Chorus got up on stage and they started to sing"God Bless America." It was a snapshot in time, that moved Lee, who said,"It was to me the definition of pride. Just being able to stand up there and say who you are. Not only gay, but American."
