Happy 8th birthday, Prince George!
In honor of his eighth birthday, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge shared an official portrait of their eldest son, who turns eight on July 22. In it, he wears a striped polo and blue shorts while sitting on the hood of a Land Rover. "Turning eight tomorrow," Kensington Palace wrote on social media. They fittingly punctuated the post with a party hat emoji and a cake.
The eighth birthday portrait is a sweet nod to the Duke of Edinburgh, George’s grandfather, who passed away this year and had a notable devotion to the car.
