Raiders legend Ray Guy, considered one of the greatest punters in NFL history, has died at the age of 72 after a lengthy illness. He was inducted into in the Hall of Fame in 2014 and was named to the the NFL's 75th and 100th Anniversary All-Time teams.

Deemed by many as the"greatest punter of all time," Ray Guy died at the age of 72 after battling a lengthy illness.

“It was something that was given to me. I don’t know how,” he said. “I’m really blessed in that category. It’s something I really appreciate and I advanced it and I made it into something great.” He was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2014 and was inducted in the College Football Hall of Fame in 2004 for his All-American career at Southern Miss.
