This season, designers Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez drew inspiration from a blanket they’d gifted to stylist Camilla Nickerson over the holidays; instead of taking it to bed, she wore it as a scarf. But the ensuing Proenza Schouler collection wasn’t filled with thick cover-ups—instead, the clothes were an interpretation of being protected from the outside world with a layer of self-assurance.
