The prosecution rested its case in the Alex Murdaugh double-murder trial Friday after four weeks and bringing 60 witnesses to the stand.
Now, it's the defense's turn, who said they are ready to "rock and roll."
"Your statement of 9:00 p.m. It could have been 8:00 p.m.," asked defense attorney, Dick Harpootlian."It could, their deaths could have been the result of being shot at 8 o'clock," Harpootlian reiterated. "At this time, there is no danger to the public," Sheriff's spokeswoman Shalane Tyndall read to the court.
