“I’m finally here at Union Glacier,” she said in her first memo in the South Pole, recounting the year she spent preparing for this exceptional trek. Since 2015, Côté has participated in numerous long-distance runs where she would continuously place in the top three, making her one of the best in the world. In the fall of 2022, she used her trek across Greenland as preparation for her latest feat.
