. The group began their long-anticipated Rhapsody Tour earlier this year and has received rave reviews from critics for their showmanship. But on Tuesday night, the group took their performance to a whole new level.
During their tour stop in Dallas, Queen and Adam Lambert performed fan-favorite song “Fat Bottomed Girls,” much to the delight of the crowd. But as the group launched into the song’s second verse, they were joined onstage by a throng of cheerleaders from the Dallas Cowboys, each equipped with their signature outfits and pom-poms.
Lambert had some fun with the song and the addition of the iconic cheer squad: As he sang the words, “Ain’t no beauty queens in this locality,” he turned around to see the cheerleaders dancing and added, “Well, actually …” Meanwhile, Brian May joined the crowd of dancers for his iconic closing solo, shredding out his licks as the cheerleaders backed him up with their choreography.
