Zach de la Rocha explained the cancelation in an emotional Instagram post.

The post cited a leg injury suffered by de la Rocha at a concert in Chicago in July that required him to perform several subsequent shows while seated. The damage turns out to be so severe that subsequent shows won't be possible.
"Unfortunately it is a moment that requires a lot of work and healing. I have a severe tear in my left Achilles tendon and only 8% of my tendon was left intact. And even that portion is severely compromised. It's not simply a question of being able to perform again, but extends to basic functionality going forward," he wrote in the Instagram post.
