Central Pennsylvania could be drenched by three days’ worth of rain by the time the weekend rolls around, forecasters said.is calling for at least a slight chance of rain Wednesday through Friday. Some periods over the next few days are more likely to see rain than others.

Wednesday has a slight chance of showers after 2 p.m., as temperatures climb into the upper 80s, forecasters said. Forecasters said more showers — plus thunderstorms — are possible after 2 p.m. Thursday and into the night. Showers are likely before 11 a.m. Friday, then again in the evening until about 2 a.m. Saturday, forecasters said.Early weekend forecasts are predicting sunny skies and low 80-degree highs.Mostly cloudy, with a low around 69.
