Temperatures in the 40s along with clouds and occasional rain are in store for the Harrisburg region this week, according to the National Weather Service

The Harrisburg region should expect relatively steady temperatures in the 40s for the coming week, along with occasional rain, according to the National Weather Service.

Sunday’s high of 41 degrees is expected to be the week’s coldest, the NWS is projecting, with daily high temperatures warming into the upper 40s for Martin Luther King Jr. Day and staying there for the rest of the week. After a sunny Sunday and Monday, clouds are expected to arrive Monday night, with chances of rain Tuesday and again Wednesday night into Thursday, according to the NWS. Sun is expected to return for the end of the week.

Sunday night is projected to bring a low of 24 degrees, according to the NWS, with nighttime temperatures warming into the 30s for the rest of the week.Sunny, with a high near 41. North wind 11 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph.Mostly sunny, with a high near 47. Northwest wind 5 to 7 mph.A chance of rain after 8am. Cloudy, with a high near 49. Light south wind. Chance of precipitation is 50%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.A chance of rain before 8pm.
