THOUSAND OAKS — The Rams’ offensive line was decimated by injuries in 2022, notably but not exclusively to starting left tackle Joseph Noteboom and center Brian Allen. The Rams had 12 different starting combinations in the first 13 games of the season. At one point, four of the five starters had not been on the roster in September, let alone training camp.
The 6-foot-7 Jackson started six games in Noteboom’s stead last season before a since-resolved blood clot issue ended his season early, too. But in the time he played, Jackson showed enough, especially in pass blocking, to earn consideration this camp. “Joe’s the guy who can play inside and outside, so it’s one of those deals that we kind of had planned on initially.”
