Another verse in the song references a gun given to the singer by his grandfather followed by the lyrics,"They say one day they're gonna round up / Well, that s--- might fly in the city, good luck."
At a concert over the weekend, Aldean maintained that both his song and the accompanying video aren't racist but instead a plea for things to change.," he told his fans."It's about people getting their s--- together, acting right, acting like you got some common sense.
