"Real Housewives of Salt Lake City" star Jen Shah arrived at a federal prison camp in Texas on Friday to begin her 6 1/2-year sentence for running a telemarketing scheme that targeted vulnerable, elderly victims, a prison spokesperson said., about 100 miles northwest of downtown Houston, after pleading guilty to a single count of wire fraud.
"Jen Shah’s resolve to make her victims whole and to turn her life around is unyielding," the reality TV star's attorney, Priya Chaudhry, said in a statement. "She is committed to serving her sentence with courage and purpose, fueled by her desire to make amends for the hurt she has caused and to help others in her new community."
