REDWOOD CITY — A male suspect was arrested Friday night after allegedly injuring another person with a coffee cup, authorities said.

Police responded at about 10:02 p.m. to the 3400 block of East Bayshore Road, which runs adjacent to U.S. Highway 101 behind large parking lots for industrial warehouses. The male victim was found with lacerations and abrasions to the face, police said. He was taken to a hospital and treated for injuries after medics attended to him at the scene.
