Renault has shown a new hydrogen-powered concept car to showcase its alternative-fuelled ambitions. Only this solitary, shadowy teaser image has been shown thus far, ahead of a full debut planned for May 2022.
Sadly, nothing else has been confirmed about the car, codenamed ZHCB internally. All Renault concepts carry a Z designation, and the H signifies hydrogen fuel, and C the C-segment . The company promises the concept, styled under the watch of new design chief Gilles Vidal, will make several safety advances and pledges the project is designed to be inclusive for all members of society. Renault hasn't dabbled much with hydrogen or fuel-cells in its road cars, but it has experience in its light commercial vehicles, where it has partnered with Hyvia .
