From 2000 (when she came as Jim Carrey’s date) to 2007, Renee Zellweger was regular presence at the Golden Globes.
Dressed in an aqua, off-the-shoulder gown by Armani, Zellweger acknowledged the passage of time when greeted by E! interviewer Ryan Seacrest. “It’s been a while,” the actress said. “You guys have your own theater now.”
The two chatted briefly about Judy Garland— she was “one of those people you always look up to, that define your life as you grow up” — and Seacrest wished her luck at the ceremony. Then, after telling Seacrest to ‘enjoy yourself tonight,’ Zellweger turned , lifted the hem of her dress and gingerly made her way back to the red carpet, back where she belongs.
