hung up its bulletproof vests on Comedy Central, but the deputies who police the Biggest Little City in the World are back. In littler doses. Here is our first look at Quibi’s shortform revival of the cult comedy. Watch the clip above.
The clip sees the familiar law enforcers at roll call, bantering about the squirrels in the vent above them.
Ben Garant, Lennon and Kenney-Silver co-created the ensemble comedy and also wrote the new Quibi season. Comedy Central Productions is behind Quibi’s and Peter Principato of Artists First executive produces along with Danny DeVito, Michael Shamberg and Stacey Sher of Jersey Television. Wendi McLendon-Covey also is a producer.
Quibi, the digital shortform outlet founded by Jeffrey Katzenberg and run by Meg Whitman, launches April 6.
