WeWork CEO Adam Neumann and his wife, Rebekah Neumann, battled with contractors over bills related to the renovation of their $10.5 million Manhattan townhome. Between 2017 and 2018, four of the contractors ended up filing legal claims over alleged unpaid bills, and one even sued the couple — even as Neumann was cashing in on his WeWork stake to the tune of $700 million. Together, the contractors claimed the Neumanns owed them more than $1.1 million.
