Residente in press conference at La Placita de Santurce on May 16, 2018 in San Juan, Puerto Rico.shared on Instagram a photo with Bernie Sanders, who apparently unexpectedly visited the Puerto Rican singer.
“I had to stop writing because Bernie Sanders came to the house to borrow sugar,” wrote the singer, who supported Sanders back in 2016 during the presidential primary elections for the Democrat party. At the time, Residente “One thing led to another and we ended up talking about a lot of things,” he added.
Residente is a notable activist, and will always get involved to fight for human rights, especially in Puerto Rico.
