The report says Mayor Greg Dionne had spoken with Pritchard, who was “agreeable to serving,” and the police board endorsed the recommendation., Coun. Blake Edwards said he was “OK” with the recommendation, noting Pritchard’s link to the provincial government. “I think that this is going to … show some of the difficulties that the commission or the police association are going through and there’ll be some clarity, and I think it’s a good thing,” Edwards said.
