Revolut's upcoming hiring spree is the latest step in its efforts to cope with issues stemming from rapid customer growth:
over its Valentine's Day advert. Revolut's rapid growth makes it susceptible to compliance issues because developing the infrastructure necessary to handle the avalanche of regulatory obligations financial institutions are burdened with takes time.
In an effort to get ahead of these transgressions, Revolut has been on a wide-reaching hiring spree. At the end of August, it hired three executives from Deutsche Bank, ClearBank, and N26,the FT. That was following the appointment of David MacLean, the former finance director at challenger bank Metro, as its CFO.
