The future Hall of Fame tight end called it quit last summer and despite rumors that he would jump back into the NFL and join the Buccaneers, Gronkowski stayed retired.
Bucs head coach Todd Bowles also revealed that the team contacted Gronkowski in November about him possibly coming out of retirement.
