Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) implored his colleagues in the House to interview the intelligence officials who signed a letter casting doubt on the Hunter Biden laptop story back in 2020.
Dubbing the letter as"probably the most effective effort of sabotage" against the laptop story, Johnson argued the former officials had more of an influence in the 2020 election than Russia did during its prior interference campaigns.
The letter came in response to a bombshell New York Post article on the soon-to-be first son's laptop and revelations about his overseas business dealings. Johnson noted that when he was investigating the Hunter Biden laptop debacle, he lacked support from his committee members to issue the subpoenas he wanted. House Republicans, whoever, have been revisiting the issue.
Johnson testified before the weaponization committee during its first public hearing last week. When asked by host Maria Bartiromo whether the diamonds and jewels the younger Biden reportedly received amount to money laundering, Johnson left the possibility open.
