The comedian clarified that she has not been prescribed Ozempic, adding, “All I drink is water now. And I’m not eating sugar as much as I can.”
However, she clarified that it’s “not Ozempic,” referencing the popular Hollywood weight-loss drug.
“Two months ago, my doctor put me on Mounjaro … and Repatha,” O’Donnell noted. “One I do every other week and one I do once a week.” The actress further told social media users that, in order for people to get those two medications prescribed, “you have to have diabetes.” She’s been diagnosed withRosie O’Donnell has lost 10 pounds since the holidays.“Christmas I stopped drinking anything except water,” she explained. “I have had champagne one night that was a toast and I had wine one night, so it hasn’t been 100 percent.
“But I really stopped drinking like five or six Diet Cokes a day,” the Daytime Emmy winner continued. “All I drink is water now. And I’m not eating sugar as much as I can.”Additionally, she explained that her appetite has “decreased significantly” and she doesn’t think about food “at all.” “It’s like it alters something in your thought process. … It’s weird,” O’Donnell concluded. “So all those things combined, that’s what it is.”
