Round Lake Beach police said a crash left Epifanio Camarena, 41, dead and six other people injured at Route 83 and Lexington Drive Tuesday night.
ROUND LAKE BEACH, Ill. -- A man was killed and six other people, including four children, were injured in a crash in north suburban Round Lake Beach Tuesday night, police said.
The 41-year-old man who was driving the Equinox was pronounced dead at the scene. The Lake County Coroner's Office identified him as Epifanio Camarena of Round Lake. Preliminary autopsy results confirmed he died as a result of multiple blunt force injuries from the crash Five of those victims - four children, ranging in age from 4 to 15, and a woman - were riding together in the Equinox, police said.
