Round Lake fire authorities were continuing Monday to investigate a weekend fire that killed a 38-year-old woman.
The Greater Round Lake Fire Protection District responded to the fire in the 100 block of West Providence Lane at 9:48 a.m. Saturday.

Firefighters entered and found Goulding on the second floor. She was transported to Advocate Condell Medical Center, where she was later pronounced dead.The fire appeared to have started in the kitchen, but the exact cause has yet to be determined, the fire district said Monday.
