Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken combines the legend of a fearsome sea creature with something even more frightening: the teenage experience. The newest DreamWorks Animation film is funny and heartwarming and subverts myth and expectation alike with glee. The movie boasts an all-star cast that includes Lana Condor, Jane Fonda, Sam Richardson, and Will Forte, all of whom shine in their respective roles.

There's a certain part of the colors, the world, and the comedy that [makes me] think that there might be some sort of fun in there.
