Lidia Prudovskaya and her two children were summoned by investigators Friday in the northern Russian region of Arkhangelsk Friday to testify in the case, according to the Russian news outlet Sota.

The Russian government is forcing two young kids to testify against their own mom after she was accused of “discrediting” the Army, according to a report.

Lidia Prudovskaya, along with her 9-year-old daughter and 10-year-old son, was summoned by investigators Friday in the northern region of Arkhangelsk to testify in the case, according to the Russian news outlet Sota.in February 2022. Prudovskaya was accused of sharing anti-war posts on the Russian social media platform VKontakte in September.

She would not be the first parent to face heavy penalties under the law that has regularly been used against Moscow’s critics.
