In the previous two weeks, Rutgers burned both redshirts for two promising young running backs. Freshman Ja’shon Benjamin, who did not see the field against Michigan State last week, made his fifth appearance in the loss against Wisconsin on Oct. 7. Meanwhile, sophomore Samuel Brown V, who has been used sparingly, registered his fifth and sixth appearances against Wisconsin and Michigan State.
