Ruth Bader Ginsburg: 'I'm on My Way to Being Very Well' After Cancer Treatment
Ruth Bader Ginsburg gave an update on her health, just over a week after the Supreme Court announced that she had been treated for pancreatic cancer.
“I love my job. It’s the best and the hardest job that I have ever had. It’s kept me going through four cancer battles,” Ginsburg continued. “Instead of concentrating on my aches and pains, I just know that I have to read this set of briefs, go over the draft opinion.” The treatment marked the second time in a year Ginsburg has had cancer — and the second time she has had pancreatic cancer. She underwent surgery to have two malignant modules removed from her left lung in December.
She made her first public appearance since announcing the treatment when she accepted an honorary degree at the University at Buffalo School of Law on Monday.RELATED: Supreme Court Reveals RBG Was Treated for Cancer — as Source Says She Was ‘in Really Good Spirits’ on Broadway the Night Before
