Ryan Adams resurfaces online five months after sexual misconduct allegations

The embattled singer-songwriter took to social media Friday night to share a statement in response to the allegation made against him in ain February. He also shared a snippet of his new song "I'm Sorry and I Love You" on Instagram.

“I have a lot to say. I am going to. Soon,” Adams wrote. “Because the truth matters. I know who I am. What I am. It’s time people know. Past time. All the beauty in a life cannot be reduced to rubble for lies. This madness. My work was a map for the lost. Not a billboard. So soon.”published an article with accusations of sexual misconduct, emotional abuse and manipulative behavior by several female musicians, including his ex-wife Mandy Moore and musician Phoebe Bridgers.

In response to the article, Adams tweeted an apology to to those he hurt, but said the "picture that this article paints is upsettingly inaccurate. Some of its details are misrepresented; some are exaggerated; some are outright false.", which was set to arrive in April. The new song "I’m Sorry and I Love You" was previously seen on a track list of the upcoming album.

On Friday, Adams also a series of other posts on social media, including numerous photos and an instrumental clip of a song. See his posts below.
