The sales process allows the exclusive window for non-profits to be extended beyond the original 90 days, should this be required in order to continue negotiations. Paul Olfert, a lawyer acting for MNP, told court MNP recognizes the value of having the properties continue to serve the community. He said the province will likely have to back a potential non-profit partner.
