SALT LAKE CITY — Salt Lake and Murray police departments are asking the public to come forward with information regarding two unrelated stabbings that happened within the past two weeks.Homicide detectives with the Salt Lake City Police Department are asking for help identifying two women who may have witnessedOfficers found Vera on the ground with a "critical injury" after what they believe was a large fight among people leaving a nightclub near 32 E. Exchange Place.

SLC police are asking the public for help identifying these two women who may have witnessed a fatal stabbing near Exchange Place on May 3. Police are asking anyone with information, including video and photos, "or who has seen social media posts related to the stabbing," to call 801-799-3000 and ask to speak with a police officer.Two men reported being assaulted by a man with a knife while walking back to their hotel near 580 W. 5300 South about 9:40 p.m. Tuesday.
