Samsung employees are apparently not happy with the Fold 5's design.
But it's not all doom and gloom. For instance, the phone may have the same megapixel count as the Fold 4, but it will allegedly be equipped with new sensors and this should help it take better pictures. The Fold 5 will be powered by the more efficient Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 so battery life is bound to increase.and it's also said to be a little lighter than the Fold 4.
Due to the limited availability of other bendable phones, Samsung had no real competition so far, but now that the Pixel Fold is here, it would be interesting to see how things play out.

Ex-Samsung exec charged with stealing trade secrets to create copycat chip factory in ChinaSouth Korean prosecutors have arrested and indicted a former executive of Samsung Electronics suspected of stealing trade secrets while attempting to establish a copycat computer chip plant in China. The Suwon District Prosecutors’ Office said the unnamed 65-year-old unlawfully obtained Samsung factory blueprints and clean-room designs from 2018 and 2019 while trying, unsuccessfully, to replicate them at his own factory in the Chinese city of Xi’an, near where Samsung operates a plant. Prosecutors say the technology allegedly stolen would have been worth at least 300 billion won ($233 million) for Samsung. Six other people have been charged in the case.
