San Diego police seek gunman who opened fire during failed robbery attempt in Oak Park [Breaking]
A Grossmont College student trying to finish a photography assignment was confronted by a gunman who tried to steal his camera and then shot his car as the victim drove away, San Diego police said.
The student was taking photos of Tradewinds Liquor when a man walked up and pointed a gun at him, police and Crime Stoppers officials said in a news release. San Diego police supplied this image of a man they said opened fire on a college student after a failed robbery May 23 in Oak Park. Police identified the suspect as Darrick Anthony Coleman, who remained at large as of Wednesday.
