The San Diego City Council voted to approve implementation procedures for the commission, over the objections of the San Diego Police Officers Association.

She was the principal author of the text that became Measure B. Wilson went on to say, “While great steps have been taken to ensure there is no pro-law enforcement bias, there have been significant efforts to ensure there is an anti-law enforcement bias.”
