After two virtual years, the 5K and 10K runs return in-person to San Pedro Square just in time for St. Patrick’s Day.

After a couple of years of virtual events because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Shamrock Run is ready to return to the streets of downtown San Jose next month.

The 5K and 10K courses go off at 8 a.m. and start and finish at San Pedro Square, and runners can celebrate their finish with a pint at O’Flaherty’s Irish Pub . There’s also a half-mile Leprechaun Chase for kids 12 and under at 10 a.m., two hours after the start of the main event. And if you’d still prefer to run on your own, a remote runner option is available.The Silicon Valley-based nonprofit African Diaspora Network is honoring 16 entrepreneurs from across the U.S.
