Saskatoon Hilltops finished the regular season undefeated in the Prairie Football Conference with a perfect 8-and-0 record.

For now, we’ll celebrate a great regular season.” “Our defence has played well all year,” said Wingert, who also had a fumble recovery for the Hilltops. “Coaches are just giving us great plans. Coaches have prepared us well throughout the week and playing well as one unit. It’s not just one guy. It’s 12 guys doing their jobs. Wherever the ball goes, I know that there’s a guy going to it and that guy’s going to make a play.”

For Winnipeg, quarterback Myles Desmarais completed 19 of 47 passes for 167 yards and yielded four interceptions.The Rifles were eliminated from the playoff picture, finishing the season with a 2-6 record.
