Since Saskatchewan no longer reports daily COVID-19 data and relies on rapid antigen tests for testing in the general population, wastewater data is one of the best indicators available for how the virus is spreading. As of May, the Community Respiratory Illness Surveillance Program — a report compiled by the ministry that offers the only data on COVID-19 from the province — will be released
. The next CRISP report is scheduled to be delivered May 25, with biweekly reporting resuming in the fall.
