Her art explores the connections between humanity and the natural world, with a focus on feminism and the environment. It has been exhibited in public galleries across Canada and is currently represented in Regina’s Slate Fine Art. Gronsdahl studied at the University of Saskatchewan and holds a master’s degree from Emily Carr University of Art and Design. He has received several art awards and grants, including from the Canada Council for the Arts and the Saskatchewan Arts Board.
She has collaborated with deaf artists to educate and connect communities through art, aiming to give deaf and hard of hearing individuals equal and meaningful access to the arts.Peace Akintade is an African-Canadian interdisciplinary poet, public speaker and thespian in Saskatoon. Her poetry touches on the impacts of slavery and colonization, drawing from her youth in Kuwait, Nigeria and Canada, and from having to relearn her own culture.
