BOILER-PIPE: [email protected] Feb. 25, 2019 12:59 p.m. ET Saudi Arabia and others in OPEC are likely to back a continuation of oil-production curbs when the group meets in April, according to officials in the cartel, in defiance of U.S. pressure to keep crude prices low.

A coalition of 14 OPEC oil producers and 10 nations led by Russia struck a deal in December to carry out the curbs for six months starting in January but agreed to debate the decision again in April. The effort is meant to counter a global oversupply that had pushed prices lower. ...
