It’s not just DFW residents making up this year’s field, though. Some of golf’s biggest names, including Dustin Johnson and Brooks Koepka, are also early commitments.
“It’s great validation for us,” he said. “They came last year, enjoyed it and liked playing the week before the PGA Championship.” Past major champions Bubba Watson and Francesco Molinari, plus European Tour star Tommy Fleetwood, are also committed and will all be making their Nelson debuts.
