Staffing is down but fewer people are leaving the agency. Yet, the agency is still not hiring enough people.
When it comes to response times some precincts are up and others are down.
The North precinct saw increases in response times across all priority levels and had the highest response times out of the five precincts, according to SPD. The Southwest and West precincts both saw decreases in response times across all priority level calls.
