), but best of all, it's a birthday trip: Gomez turned 27 last week. Frankly, it's hard to think of a better way to celebrate another trip around the sun than with gorgeous Mediterranean sunsets and pasta around every corner.
"Well I’m 27 now. I wanted to thank each and every one of you for your words on my bday. Not just the quick notes," Gomez captioned a photo with a totally gorgeous sunset in the background. "The thought that goes behind every word you write usually ends up with me crying grateful tears like I did last night. Praying for all of you!! I LOVE YOU.", Gomez's grandparents also joined the group for at least part of the trip.
Everything about this Italian getaway looks incredible. "Me, Italy -trying desperately to look like a Fellini film," Gomez wrote on Instagram, alongside a photo of herself on the water. Gomez's friend Raquelle Stevens posted a birthday message for the actress/singer on Twitter, as well as some more shots of Italy that are making us want to book a flight right this second. "Happy birthday sugar! You are beauty inside and out. You have changed my life only for the better. 💕," Stevens wrote on Twitter.
