U.S. Senator and media darling John Fetterman appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert where he discussed his health challenges - and the challenges of a “dysfunctional” Congress.

“You all need to know that America is not sending its best and brightest to Washington D.C.,” said Fetterman, sporting his signature cargo shorts and hoodie. “Sometimes you can’t believe these are the people are making the decisions that are determining the government.”Pennsylvania’s junior senator has ramped up his social media trolling of Republicans, public appearances and media interviews in recent months.

Fetterman was hospitalized in February for clinical depression, eight months after suffering a stroke on the campaign trail.
