Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky will visit Alabama to campaign for Congressman Mo Brooks in the Republican primary runoff for U.S. Senate.
The Brooks campaign announced that Paul, Republican of Kentucky, will headline two townhall events on Friday in Homewood and Huntsville.in the race, saying in part, “Mo has proven time and time again he will stand up for liberty and do what he thinks is right.” Brooks faces off with Katie Britt in the GOP primary runoff on June 21. The winner will face Democrat Will Boyd in the general election this November.
Brooks’ campaign announced the events on Friday, just hours before former President Donald Trump said he was . Trump called Britt “a fearless America First Warrior” in his endorsement announcement Friday night.
