Like virtually everything else in the Senate, legislation to curb drug prices has stalled amid partisan gridlock
President Donald Trump has vowed to lower the cost of prescription drugs. A Senate committee has approved a bipartisan bill to do just that. And the plan is going nowhere fast.
“I’ve said to people here, if you’ve been here four years or less you’ve never seen the Senate,” said Senate Minority Whip Dick Durbin “And you would have loved it. It was an interesting place.
